Reorganizing a bit. Welcome to The Unremembered Realms!

If you cruise around my site you’ll see that I’ve added The Unremembered Realms into the menu. That is because my book series, Journal of an Outlaw has been such a big hit for me. After the two books I’ve gotten into building games for them, and now I’m getting into accessories or dungeon kits for fantasy gamers. I decided to make a name that all my fantasy material falls under, hence, The Unremembered Realms. You’ll be able to find the Journal books and art under my regular literature and art areas, but now they’ll also fall under The Unremembered Realms tab. You’ll also start to see the U.R. logo…

Indiana Renaissance Faire was a trip! Through time!

I took the 6 hour drive to this ren fest because I heard so many good things about it, and the rumors were true! I did have a blast with all these nice people, and it was family friendly too! I picked up a couple of things for my Outlaw outfit I’m building, so that was neat. Everything was muddy, muddy, muddy though. I’m still scrubbing mud off my boots! LOL. 😂 I’m grateful for all my new friends in Indiana, thanks for making this Michigander feel so welcome! Next time I’ll bring Koegels and Vernors for everyone! See you all next October in Noblesville!

Made in the Mitten Craft Show in Grand Rapids

Although not well attended I did manage to talk to some really nice people and hang out with one of my favorite authors, Randy D. Pearson. It was a little chilly but later I ate at Two Beards Deli, my favorite sandwich shop in all of Michigan. If you get a chance, get the “Riker”, it’s my new favorite! Plus, later I got to record some with my friend Chuck Bailey. We’re working on a Journal of an Outlaw new series called “Journal of a Lounge Lizardman”. It will be on a CD and available next summer. It’s hilarious so far and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!

    GrandCon Gaming Convention

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to all the people who bought the books and game at the GrandCon Gaming Convention which was held at the DeVos Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. But most of all I want to thank all my new friends and possible business contacts who I met there! There were a ton of creatives there and I hope that futures team-ups occur! What an amazing bunch of people!

Harrisville Art & Craft Show a hit!

This was by far my best year is sales in Harrisville, so I’d like to thank the Harrisville Council for having me once again! It’s an amazing event that is a great northern secret. It is like a huge army of artists gathered in one small town! I swear the population must be doubled during the event! 🙂

    Michigan Renaissance Festival

I went to Holly, Michigan not knowing what to expect. I was truly blown away by both weekends that I attended! The Ren Fest attendees are truly my peeps! The Outlaw Series did wonderfully and the show of support was overwhelming. As a writer, it is important to stay inspired, and the response I got from these events have truly done that. I plan on getting back to this event as much as I can. Thanks to everyone who was there and all my new friends!
