A Story of Clay: Strength from God, is a brand new book series that will help kids understand their responsibilities as they become adults. The fun clay characters in this full color, 24-page, picture book will show them how the character of Samson will live to regret the paths that he took as a child.
Times may change, but people seldom do. This book will help kids realize that the decisions they make today, can affect who they become tomorrow. Habits are formed at an early age, so it’s best to establish good ones while you can.
The book even has a page instructing kids on how to build a clay character of their own! This book will be the first in the series. Two more are in the works.
From the Author
I usually use colored pencils when illustrating my books, but, this time I decided to experiment and use clay. I also used photography for my backgrounds to give it a more “real world” look. I even had fun with the cloth that I used for the characters clothes.
Building the characters and scenes for this book was a lot of fun and I encourage all the young artist’s out there to experiment in mixed media.
