Journal of an Outlaw Book 2

Journal of an Outlaw Book 2

Book Description
The Journal of an Outlaw Series is a comedic take on the fantasy genre. Book 2 is a 214-page book with 100 journal entries that marks the return of our favorite unnamed rogue in the Unremembered Realms. The book series has been described as a blend of Lord of the Rings and Monty Python.

Book 2 spends more time delving into the character and all his associates. If you thought you read it all in Book I, you haven’t read anything yet! The book is meant for adults, but the humor is safe for kids to read. The references and situations that the Outlaw finds himself in will have you turning page after page to see what other mess he’s gotten himself into.

From the Back Cover
The charismatic fighter stood before the party, giving us what he hoped to be an inspirational speech. He boldly proclaimed that there comes a time in life where a big decision has to be made. A time to find out who you are and what you are made of. Endless questions and self-doubt must be cast aside! He raised his fist and shouted that now is the time to take the reigns of fate and grab the Minotaur by the horns!

These were the last words he spoke before he opened the door, unsheathed his sword, and ran through, expecting us to follow. I thought this was foolish, considering that we knew about the iron dragon waiting inside. After a few screams, the rest of the party and I just looked at each other and shrugged.

After seeing what a little self-inspiration can do, I decided never to try that. I’d rather stick to just sneaking in and swiping stuff.

Later, after the party came up with a proper, non-suicidal plan of distraction, we headed back to the dragon’s lair. In the end, we came out with a small bit of gold and a story to tell. We even had a moment of silence and swore to remember what’s-his-name for inspiring us.
