Beyond Repair is a sci-fi fantasy comedy series. The title comes from the business name: a space vehicle repair shop. Beyond Repair also collects scrap and sells it when they can. The small crew is led by Captain Addaboy Hoopty, who does his best to keep the space station afloat.
The series is told through Beyond Repair’s parts manager, Debris, a scrappy robot with a heart of…well, whatever they could throw together! The series’ humor blends Monty Python, Red Dwarf, and Sanford & Son. The book is written as Data Entries instead of chapters. Each book has 100 stories.

Hello travelers, my name is Debris, and I live and work here on Beyond Repair. I’m glad you stopped off at Exit 87 to have us look at your vehicle. While you wait for repairs, feel free to check out our resale shops. You’d be amazed at the things people tend to throw away.
And speaking of salvaging goods, I got my name, Debris, because that is what I am made of: odds and ends of scrap. Now, I may be a robot, but I’ve developed a mind of my own and do what I can to keep this place open. I’m not only the official Parts Manager in our repair bay, but I also help our mechanic, James Rigg, with minor tasks like oil changes. I am also learning how to pilot the Jalopakiss, our station’s rickety yet trusted shuttlecraft.
My favorite job, though, is record-keeping. I document everything I see before uploading it to the central computer, a lovely artificial intelligence program named Synthia. Since your ship is in our shop for repairs, sit back and relax with some of my data entries on this coffee-stained data pad.
